Bahman the 22th Educational, Research and Treatment Center of Neishaboor is a public medical center, the largest hospital in the county (with 257 beds approved) and its trauma center. It has an area of 15,000 square meters and an eye-catching green space and is located in the middle of the city on Emam Khomeini Street. Originally, two separate hospitals (named Attar and Emdadi) were built in 1325 (1946). After the Islamic Revolution, efforts of the then administrators of Neishaboor Healthcare Service led to an agreement with the municipality, the street between the two hospitals came into possession of the Service and the two merged to form Bahman the 22nd Hospital.
The hospital provides a wide range of healthcare and treatment services. Its polyclinic includes Orthopedics, Urology, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Dermatology, Radiotherapy and Oncology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Infectious diseases, Otorhinolaryngology, Neurology, Cardiology and Anesthesiology specialty clinics, and Heart, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Hematology and Oncology subspecialty clinics.
In addition, there are inpatient wards (including Emergency, Men's Surgery and Women's Surgery, Cardiology and Cardiac Critical Care Unit (CCU), Angiography, 3 separate Internal Medicine wards, Internal Medicine ICU (Intensive Care Unit), Surgical ICU, Surgery Department (with 5 operating rooms), Dialysis, Chemotherapy, and Lithotripsy). Paraclinical departments of the hospital include Radiology, MRI, CT Scan, Ultrasonography, Laboratory, and Pharmacy.
Bahman the 22nd hospital was promoted to an Educational, Research and Treatment Center in August 2012.
